Layout

The layout determines the position, size, and number of objects on a page.

 

To change these settings, you must be in edit view.

 

Then with no objects selected tap  and navigate to the Layout tab.

Free Layout

The default for new Books.

 

Add up to six of each object and fully control their size and position.

Drag objects into position. To resize an object, select it, and then drag its green corner handles.

Tiled Layouts

For a simple consistent layout, select Tiled Vertically or Tiled Horizontally (tap  to swap the position of the Text and Picture Boxes).

 

Add one of each object plus an extra Text Box for easy title creation (tap  and choose  ).

 

Objects have fixed sizes and positions, though you can drag the green bar between the Text and Picture Boxes to adjust their relative sizes.

Multiple Pages

To change the layout of multiple pages at once, use the page sorter.
