Link with Lines
Link cells to create mind maps, storyboards and diagrams.
To start drawing a line, select a cell, and then drag one of its round handles.
Drag towards:
- Another cell to link the two together.
- Another line to join them at a particular point.
- Any empty area to create a blank linked cell.
Point on Lines
Adding points to a line lets you control its shape, enabling the creation of complex diagrams.
To add a point, right-click the line at the desired place or select the line and click
in the lower toolbar and choose Add a Point.
Points appear as green handles but only when that line is selected. Drag the point to reshape the line.
To link a point to a cell (or another point), hold the Ctrl key and drag the point towards your target.
To delete a point, right-click it and choose Delete Point.
Line Options
The following options also appear when you right-click a line or select a line and click
in the lower toolbar:
- Appearance - change the style, thickness, and whether each end has an arrow.
- Color - change the line's color.
- Delete Line - delete the line.
