Speech Options

To adjust these options, click  Speech in the Options ribbon tab.

Text

• Speak as you type - automatically speak:
  • Sentences - when completed with punctuation.
  • Words - when completed with a space or sent from a Wordbar.
  • Letters - immediately on input.

 

 

 

 

 

• Speak word when clicked - speak words in the Document with a standard left-click.
• Highlight - visual indication when words are spoken:
  • Text - words briefly change color as they're spoken.
  • Behind text - the space behind words briefly changes color as they're spoken.
  • None - no visual indication of speech.
  • Highlight Color - set the color (red by default).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Voice

Click Try to preview:

 

• Voice - choose a voice (from DocsPlus or any others installed on your device).
• Speed - make speech slower or faster.

Smart Tab & Suggestions

• Speak on right-click - speak a word when it's right-clicked.
