Type with a Keyboard

Type in the Document using your device's keyboard, or click  to use the on-screen keyboard.

 

You can also use Wordbars to send topic-specific vocabulary to the Document. Click  to show the current Wordbar.

On-screen Keys

 Delete - delete the last character.

 

 New Line - start a new line.

 

 Shift - capitalize the next letter.

 

 Caps Lock - turn Caps Lock on/off.

 

 Numbers - access numbers and punctuation symbols (click  to return to letters).

 

 /  Move Left/Move Right (on numbers keyboard) - move the text cursor.

 

 /  Move Left/Move Right (on numbers keyboard) - move the text cursor a word at a time.

Suggestions

As you write, the Predictor can display word suggestions.

 

When using the on-screen keyboard, suggestions always appear above the top row of keys for easy access.

Accessibility

The on-screen keyboard can be controlled via Switches or Eye Gaze technology.

 

People who have difficulty clicking smaller targets can also enable SuperKeys.
