Word Pool

If a word is incorrectly considered a misspelling, or is pronounced incorrectly, add it to the Word Pool.

 

To access the Word Pool, click  in the Options ribbon tab.

Add

To add a word, type it correctly in the top box and click Add.

 

To add multiple words at once, copy them from elsewhere and click Paste at the bottom.

 

Select an added word to see its settings.

Spelling

Word Pool words are included in the Spell Check dictionary.

 

You can also define specific misspellings for each word. This ensures that the word will be offered in those scenarios.

 

To do this, select a word, and then type in its Common misspellings box.

Pronunciation

You can also define how a word is pronounced.

 

To do this, select a word, and then spell it phonetically in the Pronounce selected word as box. This may require experimentation.

Remove

To remove a word, select it, and then click Remove Selected Word.

 

To remove multiple words, hold the Ctrl (Mac: ⌘) key while clicking them, and then click Remove Selected Words.
