Picture Box

A Picture Box can hold a single picture and/or a video clip.

To edit a Picture Box, you must be in edit view.

To change its size and position, see page layout.

To add a picture, select the Picture Box and then tap:

Browse:

Photo - take a photo with your device's camera.

Picture Bank - choose from a curated collection of pictures (if included).

Once the picture is added, you can drag the slider bar to zoom in and out (or tap + / – ).

To reposition the zoomed picture tap , and then drag the picture around. Tap again to finish.

To paint within a Picture Box, select it and then tap .

If the Picture Box already contains a picture, it will be your canvas.

To save your painting tap Done.

Brush - choose the size and shape of the brush.

Fill - tap an area of the picture to fill it with paint.

Shape - choose a shape and then tap the canvas at the desired spot.

Drag the shape's corner handles to resize it and the top handle to rotate it. Drag the shape itself to move it. Tap outside the shape to finish.

Colour - set the colour of the current tool.

A Picture Box can also hold a video.

To add a video tap:

Browse:

Photo - select Video to record up to a minute with your device's camera.

If a Picture Box has no picture, the video thumbnail is shown instead.

With a Picture Box selected tap to:

Fix to Background - display the Picture Box behind everything else (Free Layout only).
Clear Picture - discard the current picture.
Clear Video - discard the current video.

Tap to change the boxes background colour (or make it transparent).
